Prior to her role at Mono, Tricia worked in sales operations, strategy and enablement roles around the world.

Tricia has a special affinity for Africa, having spent more than two years living in Nairobi in a sales leadership role before joining Mono in June 2016.

Sifiso has many years of experience in the social media marketing space. He has worked in various roles from social media and digital strategist to managing the big six agency network relationships at Facebook across Sub Saharan Africa and most recently launching his own paid social media agency.

BigFive’s founders had high praise for the new advisors.

“Tricia is very passionate about emerging technologies and how these solve problems for SMB’s,” said BigFive Digital Chairman Thabo Seopa. “Tricia is an advocate of the positive impact Small Medium Business make to their respective communities around the world.”

“Sifiso is an expert in the highly penetrated and constantly evolving African social media scene,” said BigFive Co-founder Paul Plant. “His vast operational knowledge of all things social and digital, gained while at Facebook, will be invaluable to BigFive, as it extends its footprint, with new chapters planned throughout the AME region.”

The BigFive Digital Advisory Council now has four members representing the Middle East and North Africa, three representing Sub-Saharan Africa, and two representing the international solutions provider community. Our council members represent search engines, traditional and digital publishers, as well as digital marketing agencies and software companies.

BigFive Digital is an events and membership organization fostering the local digital ecosystem in Africa and the Middle East.

BigFive is seeking additional members for its advisory council. BigFive’s priorities in seeking new AC members include geographic diversity as well as broad representation from the BigFive pillars of search, social, mobile, location and payments.
