Stephen has more than 20 years of executive management experience within the advertising and digital media industries. During this time, he has successfully led Sales and Strategy teams across the Asia-Pacific region, throughout Europe and more recently on a global scale. Through multiple roles, Stephen has shown strong adaptability across countries and regions with a proven track record for driving business performance. Stephen’s strengths are strong people leadership, cross-functional teamwork, strategy development and operational excellence.
Stephen has been at Google for seven years, where his roles have included: Head of Business Acquisitions Australia, New Zealand and India, where he built Google’s first mid-market sales team in these countries, and Sales Strategy lead across Asia-Pacific, responsible for the execution and monetisation of a number of strategic programs. In 2014, Stephen moved from Australia to the UK to head up the Sales and Operations team across Southern & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Earlier this year, Stephen was appointed Director of the Inbound Global Sales team, focused on acquiring and growing small and medium businesses for Google’s advertising products using outsourced sales operations.
