Omnibiz is a new startup based in Lagos that offers what founder CEO Deepankar Rustagi describes as a “cloud-based business productivity platform for businesses to simplify their growth.”
The Omnibiz solution in keeping with the global trend of developing software-as-a-service (SaaS) products that enable small businesses to in essence run their businesses through their phones.
With Omnibiz, an SMB can create a single online presence that runs across the main Internet platforms (Google My Business, Facebook, etc.), managing reputation, create and launch campaigns, solicit and manage customer reviews, update content, manage customer inquiries, generate invoices and manage payments.
Omnibiz is building partnerships with publishers in local markets to take the platform to market.
They are also looking to partner with companies building solutions for SMEs.
“We are working toward partnering with organisations that provide tools for SMEs to simplify the SME journey,” Rustagi said.
Omnibiz recently launched a partnership with Google My Business to offer “master classes” for SMEs in Lagos to provide networking and digital marketing training opportunities for local small businesses.
Omnibiz is a component of vConnect, which Rustagi co-founded. VConnect matches consumers and service pros in Nigeria and is acting as a publisher partner of Omnibiz.
